Ramon Tapia was born and raised in Holland, with a Dutch mother and Chilean father.

His upbringing had an eclectic mix of cultures which in turn developed and influenced his decision to become a musician.

His first release in the early 00’s lead to an impressive collection of releases on some of the biggest labels. In 2012 Ramon even decided to start his very own imprint ‘Say What? Records’. The label delivers proper dancfloor-ready Techno from respected names and new kids pulling the wagon for the new generation under Ramon’s supervision.

Ramon likes to raise his bar and his sound is constantly evolving. In 2023 Ramon entered into the Raw Techno Top 10 charts with a bang, with tracks like his collaboration with Gaston Zani “Friction” on ‘Planet Rhythm’ and ‘Circular’ on Christian Smith’s ‘Tronic Music’ in 2024. Expect collabs and remixes for Pan-Pot , Hertz and much more.

His skills aren’t limited to producing. He is also a highly skilled DJ, performing for crowds all around the world. He has a special way of connecting with the audience and taking them on an intense musical journey with his rolling & up tempo, raw sound.
